Surfing Saves

Surfing Saves was started by John Angiulo aka JA, who is a lifelong surfer from Montauk, NY. He has been teaching surfing for twenty years, a sponsored professional longboard, a five time author, content producer, community event producer and holistic regeneration. Surfing Saves allows him to join all of these pursuits under one umbrella. 

The Stories use visual and written content to share unique and compelling personal account that display how surfing saves us as humans and how we as humans are then inspired to protect the places we love. 

The Experiences provide a variety of ways for JA to educate and inspire the community. These range from 1-on-1 Surf instruction, to Wave Therapy, Holistic Luxury Experiences and Community Event Production. 

The Wave Havens portion of the project is coordinated with our conservation partners and creates an avenue for the surf community to take action.  The specific goal is to create a global network conservation areas that double as epicenters for holistic regeneration, education and community evolution. 

Our Passion is three fold. 

 The first is to help use surfing as a way to heal and rejuvenate people from the stressful and chaotic existence that so many of us fall subject to.  We utilize the natural elements of the sun, earth, ocean and surf to rejuvenate our clients and amplify those energies through elevated practices such as sound and light wave therapy. 

Secondly, we share the stories of how surfing has positively impacted people, places and the planet through our social media, written and film production content. 

Thirdly, and Ultimately, we are inspired to galvanize the surf community towards coming together as a global force for elevating our evolution through simultaneously regenerating ecology and economy in key locations around the world.
